• 'From the Minute to the Massive'!

  On Tuesday 27th March, Dr Colin Rawlins led a Family Learning Session for families in Years 3 and 4. 'From the Minute to the Massive' was a Science and Maths workshop designed to stimulate curiosity and creative thinking on scientific topics, and was full of exciting activities which can be repeated at home. 

  

• Ascension Day

  On Thursday, 10th May, the whole school walked down to Church to celebrate Ascension Day. Years 6 and 5 led the way,supporting Reception and Year 1, and lots of lovely conversations were heard along the way. Open the Book retold the story of Ascension - with supporting roles played by some of the children - and Rev Caroline talked about the meaning of this day for Christians. We sang songs together telling the story of Jesus' life, death and resurrection, and Rev Caroline led the closing prayers.
