  • FOAS Christmas Fayre 2017

    Thu 14 Dec 2017 Miss O'Neill

For the last few months, our dedicated team of Friends have been planning and preparing for the Christmas Fayre, and on Friday 8th December, the long-awaited day finally arrived.

There were a wide range of stalls and activities to enjoy, with singing from the choir, and we were pleased to welcome old friends and new for the festive fun. The event raised well over £1000, which is an amazing achievement. This will be put towards our new outdoor classroom, and to the many regular smaller projects that make our school such a special place to be.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone in FOAS for all their hard work - we are very lucky to have your support!

The performance was the highlight of a project with Mr. Cox and Miss Conway-Jarrett from Ormiston Sudbury Academy. To find out more and see the photo visit their class page.

  • Cathedral Carol Service

    Tue 05 Dec 2017 Miss O'Neill

Today, Year 3 and a select choir from Year 6 went to Bury St Edmunds Cathedral for the annual Carol Service. As well as performing all our favourite carols - we joined in a very special - and very noisy - performance of The Nativity, complete with babies crying, donkeys braying and stars twinkling!

Fri 01 Dec 2017 Mr. Gray
Congratulations the U11 Girls football team who battled the elements at the Suffolk County Football finals. The girls performed amazingly considering the weather and ended up being named the 6th best team in Suffolk (and the smallest school to reach the final too!).
