Pupil Premium and Catch-up Funding

Pupil Premium Funding: Allocation and Impact

Each year the school receives a Pupil Premium Grant. This is funding provided to schools to close the attainment gap between disadvantaged pupils and their peers. The school receives an amount of money for each pupil of compulsory school age who fits the eligibility criteria. In 2022-23 this is £1385 for every child recorded as eligible for Free School Meals in the last six years,  £2410 for every Looked After Child and £2410 for children adopted from care.

Catch Up Funding

The government initially provided Catch Up Funding for the 2020 to 2021 academic year.

It aimed to support pupils to catch up for lost learning so schools can meet the curriculum expectations for the next academic year.

Details of ongoing Catch Up Funding can be found in the Pupil Premium Strategy Statement above.
