Football Success!
Thu 28 Sep 2017Well done to our U11 football teams who competed in the Sudbury Area tournaments this week.
The Mixed team came second overall, following a tough final loss against St. Gregorys, and the Girls team won their tournament (making sure that our trophy cabinet hasn't got an empty space this year!).
Both teams will now go on to represent the school in the next round of their respective competitions.

Anti-bullying Workshop
Fri 15 Sep 2017This week, Simon Firth from Gripping Yarns visited with his new antibullying performance ‘Out of the Circle’. Simon works with several local education authorities to develop material to use in schools, and has visited us before. The children really enjoyed learning in this fun way, and Simon was impressed with their knowledge and thoughtful questions and reflections afterwards. If you would like more detail about our approach to behaviour and antibullying, please see our policies on this website.

Roald Dahl Birthday Celebrations
Fri 15 Sep 2017£80.33 raised for the Roald Dahl Children’s Charity!!!!!
This week, the school Council ran a two day cake and biscuit stall in aid of the Roald Dahl Children’s Hospital Charity. The team worked hard selling George’s Marvellous Medicine Cakes, Giant Peach Biscuits and Chocolate Factory Chocolate Biscuits, and by the end of day two, had completely run out of all Nat’s delicious bakes. Thank you to School Council and adult rep Mrs Butcher for organising this event and a HUGE THANK YOU to Nat in the kitchen for all of the baking!
