Jerry visited today as part of Year 5 and 6’s current RE learning -  Judaism – Worship, Pilgrimage and Sacred Places What is holiness for Jewish people: a  place, a time, an object or something else? Jerry talked about the story of Moses, the seder plate and demonstrated how members of families who follow the Jewish Faith celebrate Passover today. Children tried the horseradish and the matzo bread. The youngest boy in the class had to hunt for the matzo bread, as is traditional during this Jewish Festival. Jerry also talked about links to the Christian festivals of Easter and Christmas.
