Poppy Appeal 2018

We were very proud to support the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal again this year. Our Year 6 took turns to sell the poppies and other goodies at playtimes - raising over £120! We held a Remembrance Day assembly on Friday 8th November and were joined by two paratroopers from our local Colchester barracks, who were able to spend some time visiting our classrooms to talk to us and answer questions about being in the army.

Roald Dahl Snack Sale

Roald Dahl Snack Sale 1

School Council organised a Roald Dahl themed Snack Sale on 13th and 14th September 2017. This week we received a letter from Roald Dahl’s children’s charity, thanking us for raising £80.43 for the charity’s work, supporting seriously ill children in our area and across the UK.

Macmillan Coffee Morning 2017

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 29th September raised a massive £162 for this very worthwhile cause. It was lovely to see so many friends - old and new - joining us for this enjoyable event.

A big thank you to Mrs Anderson and her team of FOAS helpers, who organised the morning.
