Year 4 - Orcas

Spring Term Photos
Spring Term Highlights:
- Our trip to Colchester Castle - as we have been learning about the Romans and the Iron Age, this was the perfect trip to consolidate our learning. We had a go at building our own roundhouse and Roman villa, we went for a good search around the museum, we went down into the vaults and discovered that we were sat in the foundations of a Roman temple and, of course, had a lovely lunch!
- World Book Day - many of us dressed up as our favourite book characters. In Y4, we used MC Grammar as our inspiration, as he was an ambassador for WBD and we love his times table songs.
- DT - we made our very own cars with Mrs Fisher, with moving wheels, chassis, axels and our own design for the body of the car.
- Science Week - we looked at various Scientists and conducted a glacier experiment, learning about climate change.
- Science - we investigated and built circuits.
- Geography - we had a great time learning about volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis.
